We are laying the ground work for the second floor πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ. Long before we bought this land I had seen clearly what the second floor would be. We will be unlocking the digital economy right from rural Kenya leveraging these freelancing platforms Upwork and Fiverr. It is inspiring to see people from other developing nations on there and I believe with just the right training, we can get someone from never touching a computer to making $8 an hour in no time. The shutter is the most expensive part of the building. It will cost us $40,000. In comparison, the whole construction so far excluding the shutter is $30,000. I pledged all my savings ~$60,000 because lifting communities can't wait. We raising another $60,000 for the second floor. We are $35,000 shy. I know $35,000 seem like a lot, but that is 3,500 people each donating $10. How about we kick off a #10dollarCampaign in which you get seven of your friends to donate $10. We can create a ripple effect that way and make this floor happen by June! https://www.facebook.com/donate/2856479941276135/
