Zubeda is a 3-year-old student in Mombasa Primary school. Zubeda was so excited to be in computer class that she remembered when all their lessons were scheduled. Zubeda knew that they had a lesson at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.So, on Wednesday this week, Zubeda’s teacher left her class alone for a moment to go and take tea. When she returned, the students were gone!It turns out that Zubeda had come to me to check if they indeed had a lesson at 11:00 AM that day. She returned a few minutes later with her fellow students.After searching the school for the missing class, Zubeda’s teacher found them in the computer lab. She was so relieved!

A 3-year-old was so excited to have a computer lesson that she led her fellow students to the computer class while their teacher was out. Their teacher was so surprised that they weren't in their class when she returned from a short break!

<h2>A Surprise Request</h2><blockquote>As a teacher, I listened carefully.</blockquote>At then end of one lesson this week, an eleven year old girl by the name Immaculate, a grade 3 student,&nbsp;decided to see me one on one. She wanted to talk with me in person. As a teacher, I listened to her carefully. She&nbsp;said "Mr Sule why if we enter in the computer lab we see already the computers are powered on? So my request as student of Mnazi Mmoja, I need to know how to connect the CPU and the Monitor."<h2>Learning How Things Work</h2><blockquote>I think we have a hacker in the making.</blockquote>I was really really excited. I am happy that the kids are now moving from wanting to just know how to use the machines to wanting to understand the connection and what makes them powered on. I think it's time we move from letting them come to class and find the devices already powered on to showing them what really keeps the computer on. I think we have a hacker in the making.
